Introducing the new Mylius 60 CK

Home / MYCT / Introducing the new Mylius 60 CK

The Capri regatta in 2020 will provide the stage for the competitive debut of the new Mylius 60 CK, the performance-driven evolution of the 60 FD model – tenth in the long and victorious series of the Cippa Lippa yachts, owned by the Tuscan Guido Paolo Gamucci.
The Mylius 60 CK sports a state-of-the-art canting keel, allowing for substantially increased stability without excessive draught (limited to 3.5 meters). The entire mechanism sits below the boat floor, so that not even the canard foil box may interfere with the liveability below deck.

The interior’s layout includes a large shipowner’s fore cabin with dedicated en-suite, two aft guest cabins with a bathroom, and crew accommodation in the extreme bow.
The combination of carbon hull and deck and reduction of ballast weight, thanks to the canting keel, maintains the overall weight of the yacht below 15 tonnes (with 18 tonnes being the usual weight of racing 60 footers).
