We asked ourselves: How could we communicate the excitement and emotion of a Tre Golfi race to those who stayed on the ground? Especially as it begins in the middle of the night and it is impossible to follow the full 150-mile course?
Well, we thought of two ideas. The first is to offer up a professional, actually THE Professional, Carlo Borlenghi. The king of sea photography will board a speedboat at midnight, and after having followed the departure will take up position in Ponza, Ventotene, Li Galli, and the Faraglioni to shoot the most amazing crossings at both sunrise and sunset. Thanks to Carlo, we will celebrate this 65th edition with an unrivaled standard of reporting.
We will also count on the crews and social media. Whoever posts the most-liked photo on Instagram during the Regatta will win a beautiful Musto waxed jacket, personalised with the regatta’s logo. Participating is easy, winning less-so, but you at least have to try!
