The RCSW opens with the strat, on May 10th, of the Tre Golfi race sixty-five edition. There are few races in the world with so much history and even fewer with the special atmosphere of midnight start, but certainly none can boast a race course like the one that the Gulfs of Naples, Gaeta and Salerno can offer.
For napolitan sailors the Tre Golfi Race is like a friend that returns on time every spring, with its small and big boats, the thousand and more racers, the dinner party at the dock, the joy of seeing friends with whom you share passion and memories, the magical sailing among the islands of the Gulfs.
This year it is planned to exceed 100 entrants, both because classic/vintage yachts are admitted, and because the International Maxi Association has included the Race among the five regattas that make up the IMA Mediterranean Maxi Offshore Challenge.
Moorings will be assigned free of charge at Borgo Marinari, available from May 8th to 10th, based on the date of entry and subject to availability.
Yachts non partecipating in any of the Capri Regatta will have free moorings at Porto Turistico di Capri for 24 ore from their arrival; after this deadline, the mooring rates of the Porto Turistico will be applied.
The race starts in Santa Lucia cove, Naples, following a route that rounds the island of Ponza, Li Galli rocks and finishes in Capri. The course for the Classic Yachts only starts in Santa Lucia cove, Naples, following a route that rounds the island of Ventotene and Li Galli rocks and finishes in Capri.
